Busy, Busy, Busy

Well this has been an incredibly busy week!  My daughter had cheer tryouts this week for Freshman cheer at her high school.  So needless to say that has taken all my time so haven't gotten a lot of paper crafting done.  I did make her a congratulations gift though and wanted to share it with you.  A friend, Jen Smith, made the cookies and I put the bouquet together.  I think it was precious, and the cookies are DELICIOUS!!  Check out her blog here....http://whatsjencookin.blogspot.com/

Here is a picture of it all put together!

Was going to be a challenge entry but....

Well I intentionally started out making this card for a challenge, but....I forgot a detail so I couldn't enter it.  I thought it turned out really cute though so I ended up giving it to my husband for Valentines.

I used Sweethearts Cartridge to cute out the tree.  Scrap paper for the back ground.  I thought it looked like the clouds, and a Martha Stewart punch for the flower border.

Hope you enjoy!!

Delivery and Bows

Well we had another day off from school today due to the weather.  This makes 5 for us.  This is not normal occurrences for us Texas folks!!  We are used to HOT weather!!  Anyway, it has given me a lot of extra time to work on my cards and other things.

I finally got my Custom Crop order.  I got 5 Cartridges and some new mats.  The weather had put a huge delay in its delivery so I was super excited to get it today!!!

Today my daughter put together bows for her cheer squad.  They have a pep rally and are cheering at the boys basketball game on Valentine's Day, so of course they needed special bows!!  She pretty much did them all by herself, which makes me very proud!  I love that she is getting more into crafting.  I just wish she would clean up after herself when she is done but oh well maybe that will come with time.  They only thing I did was wire in the pony tail holders and cut the finishing part on the ribbon.  The rest was her.  I was so proud that I thought I would share with you guys!!

Hope you are all staying warm!!

Card for a Co-Worker

This is a set of cards that I made for a lady at work.  The zebra is from Create-a-Critter.  The papers are from scraps.  I used the I-Rock to put a little bling on the flower in her hair.

With all the snow days we have been having I have gotten a lot of things done.  I have been making Valentine's for my kids at school and my daughter (Evie) made hair bows for her cheer squad for Valentine's.  I will posting a pic of those soon.  She did them mostly by herself.  I just cut the finished edge of the ribbon!  I love that she likes crafting things as much a I do!

Have a great day!!

Kick off for DNOW and another card

We kicked off DNow tonight at church with a hypnotist.  It was great!!  I loved watching the kids acting crazy!  So I thought to celebrate this I would share another card!!!
I made this one for my hubbie!  I used Create A Critter for the squirrel!  Isn't he precious.  I can't remember where I got the heart paper.  It is from a monthly club I joined and have only gotten one month, but I love it.  When I figure it out I will definitely post their information.  The sentiment "nuts about you" is from My Pink Stamper.  The card stock is Recollections from Michaels and is cute at 5X8 to make a 4X5 card.

The silver is from the dollar section at Target!
The Dino is from Create a Critter (My favorite)
