Peyton's 4th Birthday!!!

I had my niece this weekend and it was her 4th birthday.  She helped me make her a card and a special cupcake holder for her birthday cupcake!

This is the front and the back of the cupcake holder.  I used the Sweet Treats Cartridge and after many attempts realized the box should be cut at 6.5".  I used the number 4 and some little flowers.  Peyton helped put the buttons in the middle of the flowers.  I used Recollection paper from Michaels.  I love the colors!!

Here is her card.  I used the Birthday Bash Cartridge.  Peyton loved pushing the cut button on my cricut!  

I cut the Lady Bug at 4.5" which was a little big for my A2 size card but I wasn't using an envelope so it was ok.  The glitter paper is DCWV glitter cardstock that I got at Michaels a couple of weeks ago for $2.99!!!! So excited about that!! The rest of the paper was out of my scrap pile.  

Peyton loved the card and kept carrying it around to show everyone!!

Not much Card making going on!!

If you don't know I am a 5th grade teacher in Texas.  So that means TAKS testing!!  With that going on, I haven't really done any crafting here lately which in itself is very depressing!!  I have been helping do a couple of projects for the kids though, so I thought I would post that on here.

My daughter had to do a family tree in spanish class, but there was a catch.  They had a do an "unique" family tree!  So we made dinosaurs and put them on a volcano!  I think it turned out really cute.  I used Create-a- Critter for the dinos and cute them at 4".

Spring Break Blues!

Well I went back to work today after a wonderful spring break with my kids!  We celebrated my birthday, and went to the beach.  I had intended on doing so much paper crafting....but....I was really lazy and did very little.  When I say very little, I mean little!  I only made 6 "Thank You" cards for some ladies at work that got together and got me a little birthday money to use on break!

Anyway here is the card.  The coloring is horrible.  I used mainly scraps and the flower is from Forever Young.

Another Cookie Bouquet

Well I haven't done any cards or really any paper crafts lately but I did put together another cookie bouquet.  My daughter's best friend is trying out for cheer tomorrow so I put one together for her.  Jen at PlayingwithFood made the cookies for me and aren't they precious!!!
